Morning Lotus Necklace (Blue Lake)

I bought this washi in Kyoto, Japan. They had so many amazing papers to choose from. I loved the strong red fish so much that I bought it in a white transparent washi too.

I like the contrast of the geometrical, symmetrical 12 point star and the fluidity of this water motif. Bright red fish dance within the water ripples, being glimpsed as you move. 

I can imagine this necklace being worn on a sunny day at a picnic with a tank top and shorts, or at a garden party with a dress, the fish swimming around as the star spins. It could even be worn with the matching ring.

Each piece comes in its own matching box to give as a special gift or for easy storage.
